Our raw materials are secured from sustainable or recyclable sources – such as jute, which is grown naturally in Bangladesh, and metal hardware from leading artistic suppliers. Because sustainability is key to preserving our land and our planet, Jatarea’s packaging is made from recycled materials and designed for you to keep and reuse – not throw away.

What’s in a name?
Our name comes from the words “Jat” and “Area,” a region in Bangladesh comprising four cities – Dhaka, Mymensingh, Tangail, and Comilla – known for producing the finest-quality jute in the world. In this region, we work in world-class, globally certified facilities that have been used for decades by many well-known brands with fine craftspeople to bring exceptional designs to life.
