Shoe Care

LEATHER CARE

Proper care of your shoes can help them last for years. You only need to spend a few minutes to keep your shoes shiny and looking like new.

  1. Remove dirt. Rub off dirt with a clean, dry cloth. Try to scrape off any loose mud. Make gentle circles with a small grey leather upper brush and a little water.
  2. Apply cream. Spread cream in circular movements with an applicator brush. Use the black brush for black polishes and the grey brush for other colors. (this process is not applicable for suede or textile uppers)
  3. Leave the cream to permeate the leather for at least two hours then remove the residue with the small leather upper brush and buff the shoe with a large leather buffer brush in long, firm strokes to create a smooth, even shine.
  4. Apply wax polish and buff the shoe with the large Leather buffer brush in long, firm strokes to create a smooth, even shine.
  5. Apply a little water with a cloth.
  6. Use a dry cloth, making circular movements to complete your polish.
  7. Leave to dry and cover with your JATAREA dust bags before storing your shoes back in the box.

    Nicely made sandals. Wearing them all summer long. They look nice and feel light. The leather is soft but strong enough. Got a white one, but don’t mind buying them in different colors if available.Just got a blue pair, very lovely color. 5 stars!

    Although adorable, these sandals are narrow. My pinky toe sticks out the hole. I had hoped several uses would stretch out the leather however they are made in a way that the sandal comes across the top of your foot too high. The seam has gotten dark and grimy across the top and they no longer look white. Cannot recommend.

    The phot shows the sole has white dots consintent with peeling of the sandal, never used and they arrived that way, with the weather and hot sunmers in Florida this sandals dont last a day, returned because they are damaged with no a single use.

    I ordered the Jatarea Chonchola in Gold Yellow but ended up returning them. They were comfortable and the width was fine but the length was too short. I would recommend ordering a half size up of this style. Also, only the sole is leather. The rest of the sandal (covering the top of your foot) is a synthetic material. I did not reorder because I thought they were a bit pricey considering they were not real leather.

    The shoes are to small. I couldn’t get my foot in it. I wear a true to size 8 B medium. This is more like a 6. Sandals are very cute, but i will not be ordering from you again.

    I bought the Jatarea Chonchola in Gold Yellow and have been very happy with it. I tend to easily get blisters and also have a hard time keeping slip on shoes on my feet while walking. Not with these. The fit is great and the leather is comfortable. Throw in that they have a nice design and color and these shoes are winners. I will buy from them again.
